Our school is honored to invite the Tianjin Juilliard Orchestra to hold a “masterclass workshop” for our school orchestra students and the students from the Chinese YMCA Primary School on November 23. On that day, about 85 performers from the Tianjin Juilliard Orchestra came to our school to rehearse for the performance in the HKGNA Music Festival, which is the Hong Kong debut performance, the following day. The performers come from different countries, including China, the UK, the USA, and more. There were approximately 100 students attended and viewed the rehearsal. In addition to enjoying the beautiful music of the orchestra, students also had the opportunity to broaden their horizons and learn about the rehearsal of an orchestra. During the "masterclass workshop”, the Tianjin Juilliard Orchestra arranged some performances for the students, including cello solo, violin solo, violin and viola duet, and flute quartet. The musicians also shared their learning experiences with the students, providing valuable insights for them.
