Commemorating the 130th Anniversary of the First Sino-Japanese War - Shandong Study Tour (20-24/1/2025)

Date

In 2025, our country commemorates the 130th anniversary of the First Sino-Japanese War, a conflict that significantly influenced modern East Asian dynamics and is heavily documented in Chinese history. At the end of January, 21 teachers and students from Qingzhong travelled to Weihai and Qingdao in Shandong Province to honor the sacrifices of those who defended the nation and to explore the historical battlefields of the war. They visited several famous attractions, including Laoshan, May Fourth Square, the Olympic Sailing Center, the Polar Ocean World, and Badaguan, to experience the current development of the country. We hope to have more opportunities like this in the future, allowing students to step outside the classroom and the pages of history textbooks to explore a broader world.
