Our school was honored to invite renowned educator and Cantonese linguist Dr. Benjamin Au Yeung Wai Hoo (Ben Sir) to our school to conduct an inspiring parent seminar for parents and educators.
The seminar used the "mental fridge" framework to explore how parents can "Shall We Play" through the power of language and non-verbal communication. Through creating, playing, acting, drawing, writing, composing, and singing, parents explored their physical and mental needs using words, sounds, and physical symbols, learning to be themselves, accumulating spiritual nourishment, balancing life's pressures, and unleashing the potential to transform their destiny. Only when parents achieve self-healing can they truly find healing for their children.
This seminar provided parents and educators with new insights and practical skills, especially helping parents better understand how to care for their own emotions and support their children with a positive mindset while accompanying them through their growth.
