As an EMI (English as the Medium of Instruction) school, English is principally used for teaching and learning. From the junior forms onwards, we systematically strengthen students’ English proficiency and enhance their ability to learn through English. At the same time, we aim to develop their higher-order thinking skills, foster a positive learning attitude, and encourage creativity while equipping them with solid academic knowledge and concepts.
For better learning effectiveness, Citizenship, Economics and Society (CES) in S1-S3 and Citizenship and Social Development (CSD) in S4-S6 are offered in different languages according to students’ needs. The English version is mainly provided for non-Chinese-speaking students, while local students will mainly use Cantonese as the medium of instruction.
