On 29th November, our Boys’ A Grade Basketball Team defeated the Tin Shui Wai Government Secondary School team to win the Inter-School Basketball Competition championship (Yuen Long). The first half was extremely intense and our team trailed by one point at half-time.
In the second half, our players fought back with determination, resilience, and a display of unity. Thanks to the cheering of over one hundred teachers and students, in the end our team seized the Yuen Long Inter-School Basketball championship. History was made in the Boys’ A Grade Basketball Team as this was the first time they won the district division. Therefore, they will be representing the Yuen Long to compete at the Jing Ying Basketball Tournament. We are very proud of their outstanding achievement.
Furthermore, our Girls’ Basketball Team won the Inter-School Basketball championship (Yuen Long) for six consecutive years. Together with the boys’ team, they will be competing at the Jing Ying Tournament.
The NIKE All Hong Kong Schools Jing Ying Basketball Tournament commences on 16th December. For nine days, boys’ and girls’ teams will compete in preliminary matches and quarter-finals. The semifinals and the final match will be played on 3rd and 4th February at Southorn Stadium.
