To enhance students’ understanding of the country and its modern development, and deepen their national identity, our school organised a tour of Northeast China from 29 January to 2 February 2024. During the tour, the students visited historical and cultural sites like the Shenyang Forbidden City, the Marshal's Palace, the 731 Unit Square, and the 918 History Museum, where they gained an in-depth understanding of the traditional culture and art forms of northeast China. We also had the chance to see the landscape under the harsh winter, the Songhua River, the north-eastern farmlands and the falling snow gave us, a group of Hong Kong teachers and students living in the south, an unprecedented experience.
