The 2026 Secondary School Model UNESCO International Conference brought students together on the 4th of July to debate the Ethics of Neurotechnology. This conference diverged from the standard format of an MUN requiring our students to rapidly adjust and rise to the challenge. The topic led our students down a rabbit hole of research into their nations’ current development, cultural and religious laws, and financial feasibility. This research paid off well with students bringing home a number of awards for their hard work, adaptability, and leadership skills.
Awards and awardees are as follows:
Best Delegate
5CL Akhtar Asjid Ullah
Best Delegation
The delegation of Spain - 5CL Akhtar Asjid Ullah, 4LB Limbu Deshika
Special Recognition
The delegation of Hungary - 5CL Lau Chi Shing, 5PT Vinod-Thomas Rovil
Congratulations to all who partook in this unique MUN, and a special celebration for those awarded for their distinguished performances.
