Our school was honored to invite renowned Canadian author Christina Matula, who traveled from Finland to Hong Kong, to engage in an inspiring series of activities with our students and teachers on May 20 and 21, 2025. The program was rich and diverse, featuring a captivating author talk where Christina shared her journey to becoming a writer with S1 - S4 students, sparking their interest and passion for literary creation.
In addition, Christina made a special visit to the S3 English class, where she had in-depth discussions with the students about her works, inspiring their love for reading and creativity. Students had the opportunity to showcase their drama performances to Christina and also hosted a trivia game show based on her book. During lunch, students had the unique opportunity to interact closely with Christina, gaining valuable insights into her creative wisdom and enthusiasm.
